i was a huge fan of the anita blake books but then the author went all sex crazy and lost my interest. i've been reading the kim harrison books and she's created a fabulous modern day universe with witches and vampires and fairies and werewolves running amok - but i've read all of them. any new suggestions?

Well- one of my fave series, as ya know, is the Wheel of Time books.
And it looks like they are gonna be able to finish the series after Jordan's death, via the use of a guest author.
As fer vampire fun- i highly recommend Brian Lumley's Necroscope books.
They're a nice fun twist on the vamp mythos and there's a lotta fun characters throughtout the series.
Mucho goodness.
The Coldfire Trilogy- a great series from C.S Friedman. Dark magick, swords and all kinds of fun:)
Hope those help.
